“Our 2008 foal group consisted of many little jacks, so inevitably we have available a nice selection of yearling geldings for spring 2009”. At Prairie Brae we do not sell jacks for pets unless they have been gelded. It is our policy to sell intact jacks only into breeding programs. Breeders cannot emphasize enough the importance of gelding!! All animals leave the farm wearing a new halter, are halter trained, will trailer load easily, and be farrier friendly. Delivery arrangements are possible.

Suri Pecan is a beautiful mahogany highlighted Country Classic Daughter. She carries the long suri silk hair coat of her dam, MGF Suri Supreme. Pecan will mature to a drafty build, with a broad chest and round butt. The possibilities for this radiant little gal are endless. If long-haired donkeys are to your liking, Suri Pecan is a good choice and as a brood jennet it could be an adventure.
She is a dark brown with very rich mahogany highlights.

Sorrel
Sunburst is a “put together” sorrel jennet with copper accented features. This jennet has potential to produce sorrel or black offspring. Her sire, Prairie Brae Sunsation, was a Class Champion, and Grand Champion Jack, (22 jacks) at the Miniature Donkey Extravaganza in 2003. He dam, Demeran Annastasia has a unique color coat, cherry, dark sorrel and black hairs intermixed with light points. We are confident these bloodlines will produce quality foals.
